Vanderbilt football tickets vs Virginia Tech: Best prices for remaining available seats

Vanderbilt football will kick off for Clark Lea's fourth season at the helm of the Commodores' program against Virginia Tech at FirstBank Stadium on Aug. 31 (11 a.m. CT, ESPN).

The game originally was scheduled to be at Nissan Stadium, but it was later moved to campus.

With progress on the renovations to the stadium, new premium seating options will be opening in the north end zone. The south end zone is still under construction. Improvements to the stadium from a season ago include a new video board in the north end zone, rather than last year's setup where a video board was suspended from cranes.

Lea opted to take over calling the defense himself for the 2024 season. On the offensive side, Jerry Kill and Tim Beck from New Mexico State will oversee that side of the ball with Beck calling plays. Kill and Beck brought several Aggies players with them, including quarterbacks Diego Pavia and Blaze Berlowitz, tight end Eli Stowers and running back Moni Jones.
