Week 3 of the Tennessee high school football season is headlined Friday by Nashville Christian-BGA in a game that will feature a lot of offense.

Jared Curtis threw for six total touchdowns in Nashville Christian's first two wins as the Eagles have sprinted to a 2-0 record. BGA has scored a combined 137 points in wins over Webb and Maplewood to start 2-0 in Bobby Bentley's first season.
Region play begins for some teams on Friday, including Gallatin-Mt. Juliet in 4-6A.

There may not be enough points available on Friday for the Tennessean Game of the Week between Nashville Christian and BGA. Jared Curtis has had a very good start to his junior season, while BGA has scored 60 or more points in each game this season in coach Bobby Bentley's first season.
