    Nashville Predators announce full training camp roster, location, practice times

    The Nashville Predators have announced their full training camp roster and schedule, with the first practice to take place at Ford Ice Center Bellevue on Thursday, Sept. 19.

    This training camp comes after a summer of big moves by general manager Barry Trotz , who spent more than $111 million on four key players: Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault, Brady Skjei and Scott Wedgewood.

    These additions will join veteran stars Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi and Juuse Saros to build on last season's surprising playoff appearance.

    Who is on the Nashville Predators ' training camp roster?

    The Predators will have 62 players to begin camp, with 35 forwards, 20 defensemen and seven goaltenders. Of those, 48 are under contract with Nashville, seven are under contract with Nashville's AHL affiliate Milwaukee Admirals, and seven are either unsigned draft picks or on a professional tryout agreement.

    Signed forwards at training camp: Anthony Angello, Kieffer Bellows, Luke Evangelista, Filip Forsberg, Jordan Frasca, Vinnie Hinostroza, Mark Jankowski, Joakim Kemell, Zachary L'Heureux, Kalan Lind, Jake Lucchini, Jonathan Marchessault, Michael McCarron, Navrin Mutter, Tommy Novak, Gustav Nyquist, Ryan O'Reilly, Juuso Parssinen, Austin Roest, Reid Schaefer, Colton Sissons, Steven Stamkos, Cole Smith, Fedor Svechkov, and Ozzy Wiesblatt.

    Signed defensemen: Nick Blankenburg, Alexandre Carrier, Marc Del Gaizo, Dante Fabbro, Andrew Gibson, Kevin Gravel, Jeremy Hanzel, Roman Josi, Jeremy Lauzon, Jake Livingstone, Jack Matier, Tanner Molendyk, Luke Prokop, Luke Schenn, Brady Skjei, Spencer Stastney, Ryan Ufko and Adam Wilsby.

    Signed goaltenders: Magnus Chrona, Matt Murray, Juuse Saros and Scott Wedgewood.

    Among the 14 unsigned players on the training camp roster is former first-round pick Philip Tomasino . The Predators submitted a qualifying offer to Tomasino, who is a restricted free agent, but no agreement has been reached. The parties can continue working on a contract for the duration of camp.

    Where will the Nashville Predators hold training camp?

    Nashville Predators training camp will take place at Ford Ice Center in Bellevue . The first practice session is scheduled for 9 a.m. CT on Sept. 19.

    Practices are staggered throughout the day, with the team divided into three groups (A, B and C). Group assignments will be announced at a later date.

    Announced practice times are as follows:

    • Thursday, Sept. 19: 9 a.m. (A), 11 a.m. (B), 1 p.m. (C)
    • Friday, Sept. 20: 9:15 a.m. (A), 10 a.m. (A/B), 11 a.m. (B), 1 p.m. (C)
    • Saturday, Sept. 21: 9:30 a.m. (C), 10 a.m. (B/C), 11:05 a.m. (B), 12:30 p.m. (A)
    • Sunday, Sept. 22: Doubleheader preseason games at Florida Panthers (1 p.m., 5 p.m)
    • Tuesday, Sept. 24: 10 a.m. (A), 12:15 p.m. (B)
    • Wednesday, Sept. 25: Gold Star Showcase in Clarksville, TN (6:30 p.m.)
    • Thursday, Sept. 26: 10 a.m. (A), 12:15 p.m. (B)
    • Friday, Sept. 27: Preseason game at Tampa Bay Lightning (6 p.m.)
    • Saturday, Sept. 28: Preseason game vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (7 p.m.)

    After Sept. 30, practices will move to Centennial Sportsplex. The final two preseason games are Wednesday, Oct. 2 (at Carolina) and Saturday, Oct. 5 (vs. Carolina).

    Are Nashville Predators training camp practices open to the public?

    Yes, practices at Ford Ice Center Bellevue are open to the public and free of charge. Announced practice times as above are subject to change.

    When does the Nashville Predators regular season begin?

    The first home game for the Predators is Thursday, Oct. 10 against the Dallas Stars at Bridgestone Arena. After that, the Predators head to Detroit for their first road game on Saturday, Oct. 12.

    The Predators have six home games and three road games to open the season in October.
