    Zach Top, in brief

At present, Top is nominated for New Artist of the Year at November's 58th Annual CMA Awards, following releasing his debut album, "Cold Beer & Country Music," in the spring.

The 26-year-old, Washington State-born artist inspired by Alan Jackson, Marty Robbins and George Strait currently has "Sounds Like The Radio" as a top-20 single.

"Sometimes you have to give people what they want, right down the middle," Top told The Tennessean in April 2024 .

Top joined the Red Clay Strays' Alabama-born lead singer Brandon Coleman onstage at a recent Dierks Bentley concert at Bridgestone Arena.

Top performed a take on Glen Campbell's "Freeborn Man," covered Bentley's Billy Strings collaboration "High Note," then closed with "Sounds Like The Radio."

Almost a year to the day after making the following statement, the performer's forthcoming Ryman date brings truth to his desires:

"I'm coming in from out of left field by slapping the best cards in my hand on the table and making an all-in bet on (my unadulterated) self. I believe that my music will hold up to the attention it's currently garnering and will continue to attract a fanbase."
