Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash that killed a wife, mother and Army veteran on the evening of Sept. 24 at West Main Street and Castle Heights Avenue in Lebanon.

Lebanon Police Department officials identified Juanita "Marie" Pedigo Birdsong, 58, as the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck involved multiple vehicles in front of Wilson Bank & Trust and shut down a portion of West Main Street for several hours, police said when the crash occurred. An officer traveling on West Main came upon the wreck and was the first to respond.

"At this time details are very limited due to the ongoing investigation," Lebanon Police Department officials said.
