Tennessee Titans place safety Jamal Adams on reserve/non-football injury list

The Tennessee Titans placed defensive back Jamal Adams on the reserve/non-football injury list on Saturday, meaning he will miss at least the next four games.

Adams was already listed as out for Sunday's game against the Colts with a hip injury.

The former first-round pick and hard-hitting safety for the Jets and Seahawks signed a one-year deal with the Titans in July, but has not played extensively this season. He has played 20 total defensive snaps in three games in 2024, missing the season opener with a hip injury.

Adams played just one defensive snap in the Sept. 30 win over the Dolphins. Tennessee has Quandre Diggs and Amani Hooker as the starting safeties, and they've played 99% and 97% of the snaps through four games respectively and are among the team leaders in total tackles.
