The Tennessee Titans' fast start was doomed by a miserable second-half performance in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Tennessee scored the first 10 points of the game, with quarterback Mason Rudolph making good decisions and keeping the offense on schedule. But the Bills scored the next 34 points, including scores on all five second-half possessions.

Tony Pollard had 65 rushing yards on 11 carries in the first half but lost yardage on four total second-half carries.

Tennessee is 1-5 for the first time since 2015. Here are the three key moments in Sunday's Titans loss:

INSTANT RECAP: New QB, same result as Mason Rudolph-led Tennessee Titans blunder in loss to Bills

Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills key moments

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine TD helps Titans to 10-0 lead

Scenario: Titans 10, Bills 0, with 11:31 left in the first half after the Westbrook-Ikhine touchdown catch.

The Titans' offense started well, with the offensive line pushing the Bills' front seven on a second-quarter scoring drive, capped by Rudolph's 3-yard touchdown pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on third-and-goal.

Rudolph and coach Brian Callahan were in a groove in the first half, with the former Steelers QB tossing for 155 yards in the first half of his first Titans start. It wouldn't last.

Titans' failed fourth down leads to Bills taking lead

Scenario: Bills take 14-10 lead with 10:23 left in the third quarter following Amari Cooper TD.

On the first drive of the second half, the Titans elect for two Pollard runs on third-and-1 (lost a yard) and fourth-and-2 (lost three yards) to no success in their own territory. Six plays later, Bills quarterback Josh Allen found Amari Cooper in the back of the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown pass.

Tennessee's combination of poor play calling and game management flipped the atmosphere in Orchard Park. The Bills took the lead and never looked back, while the Titans' excellent start was erased before five minutes ticked off the clock in the second half.

Dalton Kincaid 25-yard catch sets up another Bills TD

Scenario: Bills 24, Titans 10, with 14:54 left in the game after Kincaid's catch, Ty Johnson TD.

Tennessee's defense allowed 90 total yards in the first half and a lot more in the second half as Allen and the Bills' offense heated up. A third-down catch from Dalton Kincaid on a pretty ball from Allen set up first-and-goal, and Allen found Ty Johnson for the 4-yard touchdown pass and a two-score lead for the Bills.

The Bills had scored the last 24 points at this juncture, and Tennessee's offense, stuck in neutral, had little chance to make up that deficit.
