Joey Logano left the Charlotte Roval outside of the Round of 8, and he leaves Las Vegas on Sunday with a locked-in spot in the Championship 4.

Logano saved enough fuel and just enough time to hold off Christopher Bell and win the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to advance to Phoenix.

Logano was eliminated from the playoffs for about two hours last week before Alex Bowman's disqualification in post-race inspection pushed Bowman behind Logano in the points standings. Now Logano will be racing for another Cup Series title next month.

Back to Sunday: An incident between Tyler Reddick and Chase Elliott relegated both drivers to finishes outside of the top 30 and severely damaged each driver's Championship 4 hopes.

Ryan Blaney also got damage in the incident and finished 32nd. Reddick, Elliott and Blaney all likely need a win at Homestead or Richmond to advance to the final four in Phoenix.
