    Weather Alert: Tornado Watch Issued for Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina

    The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Tornado Watch for several counties including Southampton and Isle of Wight, as well as Suffolk and other cities across northeastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia, effective from 8:32 AM EDT until 6:00 PM EDT today. Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay alert as conditions may lead to the development of tornadoes.
