Mook Mat Club takes three state championships

Mook Mat Club wrestlers had a strong showing at the Oregon State Championship meet in the last weekend of January, with three grapplers emerging as champions.

Jace Lummus, Adan Garcia and Bianca Merino each won their weight classes, while Rowan Barton and Lizzy Niemi placed second, Jaxson Hopkes, Brayton Bennett and Caleb Torres placed third, Lily Barton placed fifth, and Olivia Niemi and Brody Mooney placed sixth.

The wrestlers were coached by Michael Lummus, Kyle Sukanen, Chad Allen and Richard Reidt.
