The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of stabbing a family member during a dispute.

Brent Durrant, 33, is 6 feet tall, weight 150 lbs, and was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and brown pants.

A Friday news release from the sheriff's office states there was a 911 call to the 4000 block of Parker Road in Fort Gratiot about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Deputies along with Tri-Hospital EMS and the Fort Gratiot Fire Department responded to find a 56-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and a 55-year-old woman with cuts to her hands.

"Durrant is known to have mental disabilities and is possibly still armed with a knife," the sheriff department said. "If spotted, please call 911 and do not engage with him. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau is continuing to attempt to locate Durrant at this time."
