Many topics are on the agenda for Bolivar Village Council's special meeting

BOLIVAR − A special session of Bolivar Village Council will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the former American Legion Hall, 121 Canal St. SE, to discuss upgrades to security camera system and APC backups using the ARPA funds; updating electric and gas rates; mosquito spraying and preventive measures; approve expenses at library; discuss open position for zoning inspector and related items; software updates to tornado siren; status of EPA waterline funding and next steps.

There also will be a short executive session to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee or official. Action may be taken.
