    Hot dogs, cool cats: Homes needed for loyal cat and dog whose former home was condemned

    Sgaeyl (Sail), a 1.5-year-old female, is among the cats available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter , 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. She is fiercely loyal and will love and bond with her person. Sgaeyl came in as a stray. She entered the shelter with her five kittens. Now all of them are gone and she is left here looking for her forever home.

    Ginger Noodle, a 7-year-old female Terrier mix, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. She was brought by the humane officer after living in conditions so foul her old home was condemned. She came in with a severe skin infections, dehydrated, covered in fleas, underweight, with curling toenails. She is now doing much better and is receiving regular medicated baths to help her skin. She lived with 32 other dogs and four cats and did well with all of them. She loves to go for walks and is very treat motived. Adoption hours at the shelter are 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Shelter is closed Thursday.
