The lifetime ban on individuals who have a felony conviction is indisputably unconstitutional and is a de facto example of "cruel and unusual punishment beyond that deemed sufficient by the criminal court of record". Most people who are convicted of felony offenses receive 20 years or less. Most of them fully discharge their sentence in its entirety. They have paid their debt to society in full and any restrictive or prohibitive measures should not be allowed afterwards. It's cut and dried and indisputable.
