Advanced Air Launches its Inaugural Service

An aura of excitement filled the Del Norte County Regional Airport Terminal (CEC) with the new service. An era has begun when the Dornier 328-300 jet lifted off from CEC, Sunday.

Advanced Air inaugurated its service with a near-full passenger manifest of 26 (30 passenger capacity) on the quick 1:40 hour hop to Hawthorne (Los Angeles) Municipal Airport (HHR). The flight touched down on the, 4960’ Jet Center strip smoothly and on-time.

Earlier, the same aircraft cruised down to Oakland (OAK) on a :45 minute jet jaunt and returned to CEC to pick up more passengers at CEC before the afternoon flight down South.

The Air service marks the beginning of the new non-stop jet service era to Los Angeles Hawthorne Jet Center located just a quick shuttle trip south of LAX.

Advanced Air supplants Contour Air which provided service to Oakland.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Levi Stockton, who was aboard both inaugural flights, Sunday welcomed trailblazing passengers on the first flights.

The visionary entrepreneur brought his family on the inaugural flights.

Within CALIFORNIA, Advanced Air offers jet service from Crescent City to Oakland (San Francisco), Hawthorne, Carlsbad (San Diego), and Merced (access to Yosemite) and connection Las Vegas, NEVADA.

From Hawthorne, Advanced Air serves Phoenix ARIZONA.

From Hawthorne, Advanced Air flies to the Land of Enchantment: NEW MEXICO… with flights to Albuquerque, Gallup, Carlsbad Caverns, Las Cruces and Silver City.

Advanced Air provides shuttle service to LAX, three miles from HHR.
