    Alabama baseball will face UCF in NCAA Tallahassee Regional.

    Alabama baseball will head to Florida to play in the Tallahassee Regional as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The field was announced Monday.

    The Crimson Tide (33-22) will face No. 3 seed UCF. The other teams in Alabama's regional are host Florida State, the top seed, and Stetson.

    The Tallahassee Regional is paired with Norman Regional for the super regional round that begins on June 7. The Norman region is led by Oklahoma. FSU is the No. 8 overall seed and will host if it advances to the super regional round

    The regional tournaments are played in a four-team, double elimination format.

    It is the second straight NCAA Tournament appearance for the Crimson Tide and the third in the last four years. In coach Rob Vaughn's first season, Alabama lost in the opening round of the SEC Tournament. The Crimson Tide is led by third baseman and leadoff hitter Gage Miller at the plate with 18 home runs and 56 RBIs. Pitcher Greg Farone leads Alabama on the mound with a 4.52 ERA with 62 strikeouts.
