‘As real as it gets,’ Fox News personality Kat Timpf blasts internet trolls after pregnancy announcement

FOX News contributor Kat Timpf got candid online about her pregnancy journey following her emotional announcement.
She penned an opinion piece for the outlet about the moment she found out she was pregnant and the personal experiences that affected her journey.

Timpf shared the opinion piece on her X account alongside a photo showing off her new baby bump.
“Hey guys I got pregnant and then wrote about it read the whole thing here,” she wrote along with a link to the piece.
The internet didn’t believe Timpf’s announcement with one comment reading, “Wait, for real?!?! Congrats, @KatTimpf! You’re going to be such a cool mom, and I’m sure Cam will be a great dad!”
“Wait?? What?!? Really??” another questioned.
Timpf then replied to the post assuring her followers that her pregnancy wasn’t a hoax.
“LOL at all the people asking if this is real. Yes lmao; this is as real as it gets !!!!!” she said.
Many of her followers rushed to the comments to congratulate her on the news.
“What a beautifully written article you brought me to tears. Heads up your 1st is your worst,” one wrote.
“You can read all the books, listen to people’s advice etc. Best advice listen to your instinct, close out the world and savour every last second of those 1st few months. Huge congrats.”
Timpf’s fellow broadcasters also took to the comments to congratulate her, with fellow Fox commentator Tyrus writing, “1 down 5 to go ! Congrats.”
“I also know that it’s not going to get any easier probably for decades if I’m lucky,” Timpf opened up.
“But the good news is I can look at the hard times in one more way that I can relate to other women who have shared this experience regardless of our politics.”

She went on to describe the exhaustion she’s felt during her pregnancy and admitted, “I thought I knew what it was like to be tired. I didn’t know.”
Timpf announced her pregnancy to the world in an op-ed, detailing the moment she found out.
“I found out I was pregnant the same day as former President Donald Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts,” Timpf wrote in her piece.
“I heard the heartbeat for the first time the same day as President Biden’s disastrous debate performance,” she continued.
“I started writing this piece the same day as Trump’s assassination attempt.”
Timpf went on to describe the sorrow she felt when she realized she wouldn’t be able to share the moment with her mother, who died in 2014.
“I feel a sense of unity and solidarity with all the women who have gone through this,” she wrote.
“If I’m being honest, though, I also feel sadness about there being one woman in particular whom I’ll never be able to share this connection with: my mom.”
Timpf is a regular commentator on Fox News and frequently features on Gutfeld!
She’s also an author, penning two books titled You Can’t Joke About That, and I Used to Like You Until… the latter comes out on September 10.
