‘Brazil doesn’t belong’ claims Skip Bayless as ex-Fox star calls on USA stars to match Michael Jordan dream team feat

SKIP Bayless is calling on Team USA men’s basketball to blow out their Olympic opponents.

With Team USA facing off against Brazil in the quarter-finals of the Olympic tournament, Bayless has made it known that he wants them crushed.

Bayless took to X to share his opinion about the quarterfinal game, claiming that Brazil “doesn’t belong” in the tournament.

“Brazil doesn’t belong in this game,” Bayless wrote .

“This Team USA should Dream-Team ’em by 44 – the average margin of victory for Michael Jordan’s Dream Team in 1992.”

Good news for Bayless is that Team USA must’ve heard his calls, as they are dominating Brazil in the game.

At halftime, Team USA held a 63-36 lead, nearly a 30-point advantage over Brazil.

Many fans agreed with Bayless’ calls for domination from Team USA, but also disagreed with his claims about Michael Jordan’s dream team.

“TEAM USA PLAYING AGAINST PLUMBERS,” one fan said.

“They’re quite literally on pace to beat them by 48 mathematically,” another fan said.

“Bro you living in the past. Time to move on. It’s different generation now,” a third fan said.

“They are NOT the same. Not even close,” a fourth fan said.

Team USA has not lost a game at the Olympics yet, and don’t appear to be slowing down.

They won all five of their showcase games, and carried that momentum into the group stage.

In the group, they secured double-digit wins over Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico, and are looking to do the same against Brazil.

If Team USA pulls off the win against Brazil in the quarter-final round, they will face Serbia in the semi-final round.

They won 105-79 against Serbia in the exhibition games and 110-84 in the group round.

Head coach Steve Kerr is crediting his team’s defense for the domination so far in Paris.

“We know what wins a FIBA game,” Kerr said.

“We are just completely focused on our defense, and then the beauty of our team and the talent, the depth of our talent is that from one game to the next, we’ve got lots of guys who have the ability to get rolling.”

On the other side of the bracket, France and Germany are moving on to the semi-final round.

The winner of that game will move on to play in the gold medal round.
