IT Ends With Us director and star Justin Baldoni noticeably hesitated before answering a simple question about co-star Blake Lively during a Today Show appearance on Thursday.
The suspicious pause comes as rumors mount that the actor is feuding with his co-stars because of his absence from much of the film’s promo materials.
In the Today appearance, co-host Sheinelle Jones began by asking Justin, 40, how it felt to bring the movie to life, which quickly called a dream five years in the making.
But when Sheinelle asked him about Blake , 36, Justin seemed to hesitate.
“Is there anything you can tell us about Blake Lively?” she asked.
Justin hesitated for a few seconds and looked away before he answered.
The director swallowed and stumbled over his words before he answered.
“I don’t know if you know how smart and creative she actually is,” Justin said.
He went on to say that she is so much more than an actress and fashion icon and that she had a hand in the creative process.
Fans noticed the actors, including Blake Lively and Jenny Slate, unfollowed Justin on Instagram.
He also hasn’t been in any press photos with the rest of the cast.
POOR JUSTIN!
Justin has been noticeably absent from press events and promo photos and videos.
He not only starred in the film alongside Blake but also directed it.
Only Blake, Jenny Slate, author Colleen Hoover , Brandon Sklenar, and Isabela Ferrer, are seen in promo photos.
“Where’s Justin? Why Justin hasn’t been involved in the promotion of the movie (not as much as the others),” a fan wondered on Blake’s post, which did not feature Justin.
“Why Justin Baldoni is not in any of the promos they have been doing?? They don’t even follow on Instagram,” asked another.

“It’s really sad he’s not doing press with the others as he’s a main character,” a fan asked on Justin’s Instagram post about behind the scenes on the movie.
“It’s not fair that you aren’t in promos with the rest of the cast,” said a fan.

PIECE OF ME
