    Real estate tycoon Brandon Miller’s wife Candice breaks silence after husband died by suicide while hiding $17m in debt

    THE wife of New York City real estate mogul Brandon Miller has spoken out about her husband’s suicide.

    This is the first time Candice Miller, popular blogger and influencer, has commented on the tragic news since her husband’s death in July.

    “Candice is devastated by the loss of her soul mate, and her two young daughters’ lives are forever impacted by the loss of their beloved daddy,” a family spokesperson told the New York Times.

    According to Page Six , Brandon Miller was found unconscious at his home in the Hamptons, New York.

    He was rushed to hospital in July and spent time in an intensive care unit in Southampton.

    Miller died a few days later on 3 July at the age of 43.

    He left behind his wife, Candice, and their two young daughters.

    Police were called to Miller’s property after a carbon monoxide alarm went off, according to the report in The New York Times.

    He was discovered inside his car, reportedly holding a photo of himself with his wife and kids.

    Miller was allegedly in significant debt at the time of his death.

    He owed almost $17 million to friends who had lent him funds and was also being sued for $150,000.

    REAL ESTATE CAREER

    Miller inherited the Real Estate Equity Corporation (REEC) from his father Michael, who began the company in 1978.

    He joined the business in 2004 and worked alongside his partner, Mark Siegel.

    The company recently completed construction work on a life sciences building in East Harlem.

    The Hamptons natives were married for over a decade.

    • 2004: Brandon joined his father’s company, Real Estate Equity Corporation
    • 2008: The couple began dating after growing up together in Southampton
    • 2009: Candice and Brandon got married
    • 2016: Candice starts Mama and Tata with her sister Jenna chronicling her life raising two daughters with Brandon and Jenna’s life as an expectant mother
    • 2019: Brandon’s company was sued over a complaint that allgeed Michael Miller, Brandon’s dad, asked his assistant to forge his son’s signature on law documents
    • 2022: TD Bank sued Brandon over a series of alleged fraudulent transfers which the bank claimed prevented it from collecting $2.1 million
    • 2024: Brandon died at Southampton hospital

    As previously reported by The U.S. Sun, Candice reportedly deleted the Instagram account for Mama and Tata just days before her husband’s death.

    The blog, however, was still up and running when fans went to search for it.

    Candice also works as the head buyer for Tenet Shop in Southampton, New York.

    LOVE STORY

    Brandon and Candice Miller tied the knot in 2009 after being close friends for years.

    The pair used to live across the street from each other and Brandon proposed just one year after they began dating .

    “We actually lived across the street from each other in the Hamptons,” Candice told Over the Moon in 2018.

    “However, we didn’t start really dating until our mid-20s when the timing was right.

    “We always loved one another, but it was actually so nice that we waited all of those years because we had no secrets, we knew everything about each other,” she said .
