A BRIDE-TO-BE is shelling out $1,000 for a babysitter for her big day — but it’s not for anyone’s kids.

Already convinced that her mother-in-law will spoil the big day festivities, she’s taken to Craigslist to find a man to charm her fiancé’s mom and keep her out of trouble.

The bride inquired about a wedding date for her mother-in-law on Craigslist.

She was so desperate to make sure the day went swimmingly that she willing to shell out $1,000 for some extra support.

In the post , she explained that the man would have to be available from Friday evening to Saturday evening for her wedding weekend.

She said the mother-in-law “needs constant attention and supervision.”

In addition, she added that “she will probably wear write and try to escalate small dramas.”

This is exactly where the hired date comes in.

“Your job is simply to distract and de-escalate,” she wrote.

All the lucky date has to do is “flatter her for two days” and they can make an “easy $1,000.”

CHARACTER QUALITIES

She also listed several characteristics that the special guy must have.

The ideal age range for the potential suitor is “40 to 60ish” because she is a “slim” and “attractive” 51-year-old woman.

In addition, not only does he need to be a “de-escalator” but he also needs to be a conversationalist.

He should also be able to bust a move and handle himself on the dance floor.

He has to wear a suit and be ready to give her “undivided attention.”

“Experience with narcissists a plus,” she added.

She said the date should be able to “pretend” to be a guest interested in sitting and dancing with her mother-in-law.

POTENTIAL PERKS

In addition to the $1,000 payout, the plus-one gets their own hotel room, food, and travel expenses covered.

To cover all bases, she said she would provide background information and topics of conversation.

All interested parties were encouraged to send a photo of themselves and a “quick blurb” explaining their interests and qualifications.

The poster said she would run a background check on potential candidates “for safety’s sake.”

REAL REACTIONS

Reddit user Fluff_hopeful02 shared screenshots of the Craiglist post on the social media platform, referring to the mother-in-law as a Karen.

Other Redditors thought the job sounded like easy money and wanted to throw their hats in the ring.

“That’s actually pretty sane. I’d take this job,” one wrote.

“Oh my God….. I may have found my calling, please let this be a real thing,” another commented.

“I would literally be the ideal candidate for this if not too young lol. Spending time around older narcissists is easy,” a Reddit user chimed in.

“Literally speak four words in a row and they’ll interrupt you about that one time in Brazil.”

Some weren’t as ready to commit to the task.

“I’m not so sure that’ll be an easy $1,000,” a man said.

“This sounds like if you do a good job, you’re at risk of being heavily stalked for the foreseeable future,” another Redditor added.
