DelGrosso’s Park and Laguna Splash is located in Tipton, Pennsylvania, quite far away from the Bel Paese.

However, that doesn’t deter the abundance of rides and attractions inspired by Italian landmarks.

According to the park, it was built on the Bland Family Farm by Fred DelGrosso and his wife, Mafalda.

Although it was bought by the DelGrosso family in 1946, it was called Bland’s Park until 2000.

    WHAT TO DO

The waterpark has a variety of options for family fun, including activities of all thrill levels.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is located in the Bambini Cove section of the park.

It includes a replica of the infamous landmark, with water streaming down off the top of it into a shallow pool.

Located next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the River Lazio takes parkgoers down a one-fourth-mile-long stream in a floating tube.

There’s also the Wave Oceano, a wave pool that goes from zero to six feet deep.

The alternating waves create a “surf-like environment,” according to the theme park .

For those seeking a more dramatic way to cool off, there is the Roman Splash Bucket.

A bucket-shaped structure suspended in the air splashes a whopping 450 gallons of water on parkgoers about every two-and-a-half minutes.

There are also cabana rentals available, which include several amenities such as lounge chairs and free WiFi.

    FAN FAVORITE

The park doesn’t skimp out on food and drinks, with a variety of eateries to choose from.

There are Italian -themed establishments, such as Pappy Fred’s Pizzeria.

DelGrosso’s showcases a weekly pasta feature on “Spaghetti Wednesdays.”

There are also the classic theme park eats such as funnel cake and cotton candy at Midway Treats.

Murf’s Kitchen also serves some crowd-pleasers, such as burgers and hot dogs.

Several fans expressed their love for the waterpark on DelGrosso’s official Instagram page.

“I go to DelGrosso every chance I get,” one commented on a photo of the park’s lifeguards on Lifeguard Appreciation Day.

“I absolutely love the lifeguards. Thank you for keeping us safe.”
