On Monday, a video emerged on social media that allegedly showed Williams, 23, snucking out of the field to get a slushie from a nearby vendor while still wearing his gear.
In the clip, he could be seen hilariously hiding behind a Snowie building to enjoy his treat in peace.
The Lions wideout is said to have gotten the snowcone after making a big catch in the scrimmage.
The video made NFL fans chuckle.
“Bro is not serious,” one posted on X.
“Man Jamo is so damn funny,” another added.
“I love this kid,” a third said.
“We saw him walking back across the field last night and laughed that it looked like he was eating an ice cream,” one wrote, adding laughing emojis.
“Didn’t know we were right.”
Williams logged 354 passing yards on 24 catches over 12 appearances during the 2023 NFL season.
The Lions will hope the ex-Alabama standout will step up in his third season with the team – while looking to add to their receiving corp.
Among those practicing with Detroit are Donovan Peoples-Jones, Tre’Quan Smith, and Kaden Davis.
“We’re waiting for somebody to step forward,” head coach Dan Campbell recently said of the battle for the No. 4 receiver spot, behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Williams, and Kalif Raymond.
“We’re waiting for any one of those guys to step forward.”
