GAMESCOM is just around the corner, with game developers, press, and fans from all around the world heading to Cologne to engage in one of the biggest game trade fairs on the planet.
Gamescom usually has hundreds of games playable for attendees, and some of the biggest developers on the planet are in attendance, including Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, and more.
Games that haven’t even been announced yet are often on the show floor, too, making it a highly desirable destination for any fan of video games.
But not everyone can attend the show in person, and while there aren’t many opportunities to play the games if you aren’t there, fans at home can at least tune in to the big game announcements.
This usually comes via Opening Night Live, a two-hour-long event that officially opens the show and typically features a lot of big announcements for upcoming games, including new ones.
Gamescom Opening Night Live is hosted by Geoff Keighley, best known as the host of other big gaming events like Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards.
The show is streamed live across the world, so gamers everywhere can tune in and see the latest announcements.
Geoff Keighley has announced the games set to be shown off during Opening Night Live, and there are some pretty big games making an appearance.
The biggest game on the list is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the highly anticipated next game in the Call of Duty series.
It’s not known what announcements will happen for Black Ops 6, as many of the details about the game are already known, but it’s exciting nonetheless for fans of the series.
