What is Worst Ex Ever about?
Worst Ex Ever is a true crime docuseries, which delves into four real-life stories of toxic and violent relationships.
Each episode focuses on a different case, highlighting the extreme and often violent actions of ex-partners.
The series uses a combination of compelling testimonials, bodycam footage, and animated reenactments to illustrate the grim realities faced by individuals involved in these nightmarish situations.
The show aims to uncover the darker aspects of relationships, showcasing cases of betrayal, deceit, and violence that left victims in fear for their lives.
Highlights from the trailer include intense 911 calls, distressing police accounts, and dramatic scenes of emergency responses.
Some of the stories involve chilling plots, such as attempted murders and violent squatter situations, underscoring the dangerous side of what might initially seem like ordinary relationships.
What are the cases featured on Worst Ex Ever?
So far Netflix have only revealed the case featured in episode one of Worst Ex Ever.
Over the course of the four episodes different cases will be examined.
Here’s what we know so far…
Benjamin Foster
Titled Dating the Devil, episode one features accounts from multiple women who were victims of Ben Foster’s crimes.
The synopsis reads: “Justine’s alarming call to a friend leads to a shocking discovery and a statewide police hunt for Ben, a recent partner with a monstrous dating history.”
Over the course of the episode multiple women talk about the abuse that they had at the hands of evil Foster.
One of his victim’s was kidnapped, beaten, tied up before being rescued by police.
Others were hospitalised, with one women having her head shaved by her evil ex.
Foster died in February 2023 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, after a stand-off with the police.

When is Worst Ex Ever out?
Worst Ex Ever will be available to stream on Netflix from August 28, 2024.
The series is produced by Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Gretchen Palek, Jordana Hochman, and Cynthia Childs, with Blumhouse TV playing a key role in its creation.
Netflix ordered the show after their show Worst Roommate Ever was a hit.
Worst Roommate premiered in 2022 and its second season came out June 26, 2024.
The head of Blumhouse TV Gretchen Palek told Variety : ““After the success of ‘Roommate,’ we asked, what could a new series be to start the franchise?
“And we really felt like, what was more relatable than exes?”
She continued with saying that they were looking at what was trending on social media.
Gretchen added: ““I love mining social media for those types of trends, but we really did feel like ‘Roommate’ resonated because of the universal relatability.
“And we do feel like most people feel their ex is bad — but in our series, our exes really are the absolute worst.
“That’s why we leaned into it. But I think it does not hurt across the board that on social a lot of people are talking about that.”

The show has four episodes with each lasting about 60 minutes,
