I found Walmart’s 50 cents jeans thanks to its hidden clearance – people always miss out because they don’t use my trick

WALMART shoppers were in disbelief when a customer shared multiple pairs of jeans she found priced at 50 cents and $1.
Walmart is known for its low prices, but customers were suspicious of extremely low-priced jeans a shopper shared on Facebook.
Teeyaj (@bargainshopwithteeyaj) shared a video of multiple Jordache kids jeans and pants that were 50 cents only.
She took several pairs of pants to the register and scanned them to prove they cost either 50 cents or $1.
Most shoppers walked past the displays because they weren't marked as being on sale, and the tags still showed the original prices.
This is something customers call "hidden clearance."
Sometimes, prices are adjusted in the point of sales system before products can be moved to the clearance section or marked as being on sale.
Shoppers can use the Walmart app to scan price tags and see what they cost at the store they're in.
All of the pants Teeyaj picked out had $9.99 price tags on them.
However, the jeans were 50 cents and the khakis were only $1, perfect for back to school.
In the comments, other shoppers thanked her for helping them find the deal.
One shopper shared a photo of a cart full of pants they got for $1 each.
It's important to note that price and availability vary by store.
WALMART'S BEST DEALS
Elise (@MommingAndSaving) shared in a TikTok that she usually finds hidden clearance on items that appear to be in the wrong place.
She showed a freezer chest that had a handful of different items in the bottom.
“They are not supposed to be there,” Elise said.
She scanned the package of frozen mashed potatoes and revealed it was on sale for $3, down from $7.98.
In the candle aisle there were only two candles with sale stickers on top.
What is Walmart's Scan and Go?
Walmart's Scan and Go was made to save time for shoppers
Walmart's Scan and Go system was created to help customers scan items as they shop, pay, and leave without waiting in long checkout lines.
The retailer describes the new system to be done in a few easy steps:
Customers first need to have the Walmart app downloaded on their phones with their location access enabled.
On the Store Mode landing page, shoppers must click the Scan and Go option.
Customers can scan each item and place them in their carts as they shop.
At the end, they'll be prompted to view the cart to make sure the quantity on the app matches the ones in their carts.
Shoppers will press "Check Out" and head to a self-checkout kiosk.
They'll be prompted to scan the provided QR code at the register and confirm their payment method.
Once the transaction is complete, shoppers can leave the store without worry.
Elise decided to scan the others and found they were all on sale for $2.
A Reddit user shared that they got a pair of $90 boots for less than $3.
"The most severe discount I ever got was for a pair of size 13 steel-toed boots at Walmart (not a fan of the store, but I needed boots for the snow at 10 PM)," they wrote in the post.
"The boots to the right size 12, ~$90, the boots to the left size 14, ~$93.97, and in the middle size 13, $2.97."
Luckily because of his size, he was able to snag the boots for about 97% off.
At first, an employee said they couldn't the honor the price and it must have been a mistake.
After discussing it with a manager, the shopper was granted the discount.
