Sarah Curry, a DIY fan from the UK, shared how she turned her bathroom from drab to fab, all whilst on a budget.

Thrilled with her bathroom overhaul, Sarah took to social media to show others, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on DIY On A Budget Official , a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Sarah shared a before and after look at her bathroom.

Alongside the post, she wrote: “Before and after. Done on a very small budget.”

Sarah revealed that rather than spending a fortune on new tiles, she swears by her simple DIY hack.

The savvy saver explained that instead of buying new tiles, she “painted them” using Johnstone’s Tile Paint.

As well as this, Sarah also shared the cheap Amazon buy that made a huge difference to her space.

Sarah confirmed that she used dalmatian stickers, which she bought for just £3.49 from Amazon, to add style and colour to her bathroom.

She revealed that although the stickers were cheap, they are in fact waterproof.

In addition to this, Sarah also shared that she nabbed her corner shelves from Amazon, for just £13.

Not only did she get her stickers and shelves from Amazon, but the Facebook user also confirmed that she bought the majority of her other accessories from Amazon too, including her shower curtain.

Thanks to Sarah’s cheap buys, her bathroom now looks incredibly chic – and the stunning black accessories make it incredibly trendy too.

Sarah’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 570 likes and 89 comments.

    Looks absolutely amazing. Love it

    Four cheap home renovation tricks

YOU don't have to spend loads to give a room a new look. Here are five other home renovation tricks you can try.

    Kitchen cupboards

One way to give your kitchen a complete transformation for less is to change the look of the kitchen cupboards. There are loads of different vinyl coverings out there to choose from, and it’s a quick and easy way to update your home.

    Handles

Another thing you can try that won’t break the bank is to change up the handles. You can pick up relatively cheap handles in DIY stores, or even in the charity shop. Adding new ones to your kitchen cupboards, or doors in your house, can be extremely effective.

    Leftovers

Most of us have old half-used tins of paint in the garage, but they’re often forgotten about. However, there may be enough in the pot to paint a feature wall in another room, and you won’t have to spend a penny.

    Freebies

It’s worth checking your local Facebook Marketplace, or Freecycle, to see what other people are getting rid of. As they say, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. And if someone’s planning to revamp a room, they might want to get rid of a sofa, or a coffee table, which you could use to give a lounge a new look.

Another added: Love this, it looks great. Well done.”

A third commented: “Lovely and fresh.”

Whilst someone else penned: “Good job. Looks great.”

How to add 20k value to your home

Property expert Jonathan Rolande shares 12 simple, affordable hacks that could help add £20k of value to your property…

Banish bins – before the estate agent takes photos, move them out of sight. Value added: £1k

Ace your kerb appeal – re-paint the front door, add pots and plants. Value added: £2.5k

Up your EPC rating – switch to energy-saving LED light bulbs, and insulate your loft. Value added: £3k

Clean your carpets – it’ll instantly refresh the room and eliminate odours. Value added: £3k

Take a pen to tatty tiles – a £5 grout pen could be the difference between poor offers and a swift property sale. Value added: £1k

Groom the garden – buyers want a low-maintenance space, so trim the lawn and bushes, and hide the rusty trampoline and BBQ. Value added: £1k

Buff up your basin taps – remove any limescale so the fittings stand out in photos. Value added: £500

Replace the toilet seat – and accessorise the bathroom with new towels and a soap dispenser. Value added: £500

Remove scuffs and scrapes – you can get a magic eraser for a couple of quid and the walls and skirtings will look brand new. Value added: £1.5k

Replace dodgy door knobs – out with the old, and in with modern sleek handles for kitchen cupboards. Value added: £3k

Update the drapes – and tie curtains back to allow more light in. Value added: £1k

Go greige – swap garish painted walls for a neutral hue – like grey or beige – but don’t be too bland. A splash of colour on a feature wall, cushions or cabinets will add a little interest. Value added: £2k.

At the same time, another DIY fan beamed: “Looks absolutely amazing. Love it.”

Not only this, but many Facebook users confessed to feeling inspired by Sarah’s bathroom makeover.

One DIY enthusiast tagged a loved one and shared: “Now I want to paint our tiles.”

Meanwhile, another person mentioned a friend and wrote: “I want to do this in one of my bathrooms!”
