Reddit user Banjosbadfurday hyped up a popular New Jersey attraction in a post .

He said he had been heading to the Jersey Shore for a while but had never hit up a boardwalk hotspot called Morey’s Piers “for whatever reason.”

Located in Wildwood, New Jersey, it is a family-owned amusement park that’s been around since 1969.

According to the website , Amusement Today voted it one of the top three seaside theme parks in the world.

The lively boardwalk location has more than 100 rides and attractions over 18 acres along six beach blocks.

It has three amusement piers filled with rides, from intense roller coasters to good, old-fashioned bumper cars and a carousel.

The Redditor said Morey’s Piers’ wooden roller coaster, The Great White, was a “decent woodie overall.”

“Scenery can’t be beat, the lateral forces in certain spots are pretty strong, and I enjoyed the brief bit of shade when dipping underneath the pier into the lift hill out of the station,” he said.

He added that he came there with his girlfriend and rated the ride a “solid 6/10.”

“I came here with my GF (s/o to her for placating my coaster addiction) so we each got a ride on the major coasters with a bit of room to spare,” he said.

    TICKET TIPS

He said it lost 0.5 from its rating because it costs more than $10 per person to get on.

Some Redditors were shocked by the price.

“Wow, $10 per person each ride? They don’t offer a day pass?” one commented.

The Reddit user clarified that “Great White is ten tickets per person to ride.”

“You can buy ten individual tickets for $1.50 each (so $15) which is only recommended if you’re just visiting for the credits,” he explained.

“Otherwise, you can buy ticket packages.”

On the ticketing site , their lowest package is 75 rides and five bonus tickets for $92.06, and the most expensive is 280 rides and 20 bonus tickets for $243.96.

The Redditor also said that they offer a day pass but said it was “not worth the money.”

Instead, he shared a money-saving tip to get the most bang for your buck.

If you “scrape around Google a little bit,” he said you can find cheaper options.

“I bought an all-day ride pass last year for $50 through some dance academy,” he added.

    QUESTIONS AND COMMENTARY

Other Reddit users had additional questions before visiting.

“I’m planning a trip out east and I’d really like to include Morey’s since it’s considered the best boardwalk park and I’ve never been to one. But man, their prices are steep,” one wrote.

“Do they actually have full queues if they are charging that much per ride?”

The original poster admitted that he could only speak from his personal experience, but he went mid-afternoon and everything was a walk-on on a “nice beach day that kept people by the sea.”

He warned that visitors should be prepared to walk because the main coasters are spread out among the three piers at Morey’s.
