    John Aprea Full House star died at 83 years old in Los Angeles ‘with family by his side’

    THE Godfather: Part II actor John Aprea has died at the age of 83.

    It was revealed on Sunday that the Full House actor died of natural causes.

    John’s manager, Will Levine, told TMZ that he died on August 7 at his home in Los Angeles , California .

    He was also surrounded by family members.

    John was born on March 4, 1941, in Englewood, New Jersey – a town across the Hudson River from Yonkers, New York .

    Throughout his career in Hollywood , he has starred in many TV shows and films .

    Between the 1980s and 1990s, he appeared in TV shows, including The Gangster Chronicles (1981), The A-Team (1985), The Fall Guy (1986), Falcon Crest (1987), Knots Landing (1988), and Full House (1987).

    In the iconic family sitcom from 1987 to 1995, John played John Stamos ‘ character Uncle Jessie’s father.

    He also returned for the rebooted Netflix series Fuller House.

    John also appeared in several movies, including The Stepford Wives (1975), The Idolmaker (1980), New Jack City (1991), Dead Man on Campus (1998), and Lost Angelas (2019).

    EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE

    John’s Knots Landing co-star Paul Carafotes shared a heartfelt goodbye to his longtime friend in an Instagram post.

    “I just heard that my old pal, friend passed away.

    “We had lots of laughs. We met on the set of CBS television show Knots Landing, 1987.

    “Many will miss this man! Rest old friend.

    “I’ll see you on the other side,” he concluded.

    ‘ALWAYS ADMIRED HIS WORK’

    In the comment section, Paul’s friends and followers shared their condolences and praised John’s past work.

    “I’ve seen him in films and always admired his work,” one wrote.

    A second added, “Very sorry to hear about John.

    “May his memory be eternal.”

    A third echoed, “This is so sad.

    “I just loved him, and I loved the scenes with the two of you.”

    A fourth mentioned, “Sad news. RIP.”
