HUMAN remains have been discovered on the property of a Michigan man who has been charged over the murder of his wife, who disappeared three years ago.

Dee Warner, 52, went missing in April 2021 after being last seen at her home in Tipton, Michigan , around 30 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.

Her family has now blasted the “roadblocks” that have delayed the search for the mother of four.

On Sunday, officials revealed that human remains were discovered on the property of Dale Warner, Dee’s husband.

The identity of the remains has not been released, and an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday, Dee’s brother Gregg Hardy told The Daily Telegram .

In the wake of the remains being found, Hardy has slammed how long it has taken for an update on his sister’s case.

“There’s been all kinds of roadblocks,” he told local CBS affiliate WTOL .

“It’s been a, honestly, totally uphill battle.”

    GONE MISSING

Dee was last seen at her home on Munger Road in Tipton on April 25, 2021.

At the time, reports indicated that the mother of four “had no contact with her family and friends on phone or Facebook since she went missing,” The U.S. Sun previously reported .

In the years since, the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies have been searching for potential remains.

Dee’s home and property was first searched in October, 2021 using dogs as well radar, according to NBC affiliate WDIV .

The Michigan State Police reportedly took over the investigation in August 2022.

In May of last year, state police revealed that additional searches for remains were being conducted in Lenawee Country.

    HUSBAND CHARGED

Six months later, Dee’s husband was charged with murder in her disappearance.

Dale, 56, was charged with open murder and tampering with evidence after being arrested in November 2023.

Earlier this summer, a judge ruled that investigators had brought enough evidence for Dale to face trial.

Among the evidence submitted was body camera footage from the day after Dee was reported missing, according to WDIV.

In the footage, Dale reportedly acted nonchalantly as he spoke with the officer.

“She’s gone, she took all her bags,” he is heard saying.

“So somebody picked her up, so she’s with someone, somewhere.”

Testimony from a friend of Dee’s also alleged that the Michigan mother had claimed there was abuse in the relationship.

“The very last thing she ever said to me, ever, was that she was tired and that it was time to talk to a lawyer,” the friend reportedly testified.

Dee was declared deceased in March.

    REMAINS FOUND

Michigan State Police’s Special Investigation Section recently discovered the remains on a piece of property owned by Dale.

Hardy told The Daily Telegram that the remains appeared to be entombed in a tank containing anhydrous ammonia used to fertilize corn.

He claimed the tank appeared to have been cut open, welded shut, and painted.

The discovery of the remains came after Hardy had spoken with police about the tank, which he reportedly had seen Dale painting after his sister disappeared.

“I remarked at the time, I found it very unusual what he was doing and why he was doing it,” Hardy told the Daily Telegram.

Police reportedly showed Hardy a video of Dale allegedly moving welding equipment into a sprayer barn around the same time.

Hardy explained to the outlet that it is odd to weld inside the barn as the fertilizer can corrode the equipment.

“I mentioned to them that would certainly be probably beyond imagination, but it would be a perfect place to put a body if he could do it,” Hardy said.

After working with police more, the tank was discovered by police and taken to Detroit.

There, investigators reportedly used X-ray technology and discovered that remains were inside.

After opening the tank, they found the remains wrapped in a blue tarp.

Hardy indicated to The Daily Telegram that he is still in shock over the discovery.

“Although it seems so far fetched, I mean, it still seems surreal to me that he would be able to consciously cut that open, put her body in there, seal it up, and he knew that at two occasions, he talked to me standing within 3 feet of that tank, and talked to my son another time within 3 feet of that tank with my sister’s body in it,” he said.

    “That’s pretty evil, isn’t it?”
