A FRESH college graduate opened up about getting reprimanded for her outfit at work.

She was horrified when she got called out for the "inappropriate" clothing.

Redditor Wherearethestarsss shared the fashion fail in a post.

She explained that she'd started her "first real job" in child welfare not long ago.

The initiation process involved training sessions over Zoom.

"This week, I have to be in Zoom training all day, all week," she said.

Without the need to appear in person, she decided to opt for sweat shorts as bottoms to remain comfy.

"I had my camera angled so that only my torso up could be seen," she said.

She didn't realize that she'd made a mistake during the meeting.

"I adjusted the way I was sitting a few times, so I guess the trainer saw my leg a couple of times," she said.

"She asked me to stay afterward, and she told me that she could see my shorts and to be mindful of the angle of the camera or wear more work-appropriate clothing."

She added that while horrified by the call-out, she understood the need for the conversation.

"I totally understand why she addressed that, and I will definitely be mindful of that going forward, but I'm so embarrassed!" she said.

The Redditor added that it was a change to the work-life culture that she needed to adjust to.

"Truth be told, I hadn't even considered that before because when I was in school and had online classes, I would wear shorts all the time," she said.

"Of course, that was a different setting, but still. Looking at it now, it seems obvious to be aware of it.

I totally understand why she addressed that, and I will definitely be mindful of that going forward, but I'm so embarrassed!

"I'm just so embarrassed, and that trainer is going to be the one who conducts all my training this week. Lesson learned, I guess."

Viewers consoled her and agreed that it was an easy mistake to make.

"When I was in my twenties, I had a supervisor tell me she could see my a** crack when I leaned over," said one.

"She was super kind about it and even gave me some advice about how to find clothes for my body type.

"Sure, I was embarrassed at the time, but it's such a fond memory now.

"You're learning. That's what 20s and first jobs are for."
