Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare is a luxury skincare company founded by dermatologist and researcher Dr. Dennis Gross.

The brand’s range of products can be purchased at medical spas and retailers such as Sephora .

Shoppers who bought select skincare items from Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare may be eligible for payment via a settlement involving the company.

Plaintiffs argued the brand “misled consumers about the collagen contained in its products” via its packaging, per Top Class Actions .

Collagen is a protein found in many popular skincare products that helps to boost moisture and elasticity and rejuvenate skin.

They claimed they would not have bought Dr. Dennis Gross’s Skincare C+Collagen products or paid so much had they known there was no collagen in the skincare.

The premium skincare company has not admitted wrongdoing but agreed to dish out $9.2 million to settle claims.

    ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

There are two eligibility criteria to qualify for payment from the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare settlement.

Consumers must have purchased qualifying C+Collagen products from the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare brand .

Some of the eligible products include:

    • C+Collagen Deep Cream
    • C+Collagen Serum
    • C+Collagen Mist
    • C+Collagen Eye Cream
    • C+Collagen Mask

The second criterion is that the C+Collagen products must have been bought between March 10, 2016, and June 28, 2024.

    PAYMENT DETAILS

As part of the skincare settlement, class members can receive $50 for each C+Collagen product purchased.

Shoppers, however, do not need proof of purchase to receive payment.

Those without proof can claim two products for a maximum payment of $100.

Consumers with proof of purchase can claim up to 10 items and receive a maximum payment of $500.

    Other Open Settlements

Other companies are dishing out cash as part of their settlement terms.

With proof of purchase, class members can claim up to ten products for a maximum payment of $500.

Examples of valid proof include receipts, order confirmations, and other documentation.

Payment amounts may increase or decrease based on how many shoppers file claims, with increases limited to $100 per product.

To receive the money, class members must submit a valid claim form by September 27, 2024.

Those who wish to exclude or object to the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare settlement have until the same date to do so.

The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for October 31, 2024.
