NFL fans spot ‘embarrassing’ spelling mistake on walls of Houston Texans training facility and ask ‘we gonna ignore?’

FANS have spotted a bizarre spelling error on the walls of the Houston Texans’ training facility.

Social media users were given a peek behind the scenes earlier this week as JJ Watt shared a picture from inside the Texans’ gym.

Like many gyms, the Texans’ features a series of motivational slogans on its walls.

Only, one of them makes little sense.

With the Texans’ logo splashed across the middle, the word “swarm” adorns one wall.

In an attempt to use words with which the first letters spell out “swarm”, the Texans appear to have made an embarrassing error.

Surrounding the slogan are the words “special”, “work”, “ethic”, “relentless” and “mindset”.

Fans on social media quickly pointed out that the first letters of those five words spell out “swerm”, not “swarm”.

“We gonna ignore that the SWARM acronym spells out SWERM?” one quote-posted Watt’s post.

“Special Work Athic Relentless Mindset,” a second joked.

“Who up SWERMin they weight room?” a third commented.

“ACCOUNTABILITY!! Come on guys it’s one of the top buzzwords,” another added.

Many other fans seeing Watt’s post begged him to return .

The four-time defensive player of the year retired at the end of the 2022 campaign.

Having played 10 seasons in Houston before joining the Arizona Cardinals , however, earlier this year he left the door open to a comeback.

“I’ve had 12 great years in this league and I’m very thankful to have walked away healthy and playing great,” he told Audacity Sports in May.

‘I’LL BE THERE FOR HIM’

“I told DeMeco (Ryans) last year, I said, ‘Don’t call unless you absolutely need it, but if you ever do call, I’ll be there.’

“And he knows not to call unless he absolutely needs it. This is the last year I’ll tell him that, because I’m not going to keep training the way I’ve been training, but he knows that if he ever truly does need it, I’ll be there for him.

“I don’t anticipate that happening — they’ve got a very good group.”

Since retiring, Watt has become an NFL analyst on CBS Sports.

In addition to his TV work, he has also set up several business interests.

Among them are English soccer club Burnley , which he bought a stake in last year.
