Jana Duggar broke dad Jim Bob’s strict courtship rules with Stephen Wissmann during surprise work visit before wedding

JANA Duggar broke her father’s strict rules when she went to go visit her husband weeks before they were married.

Jim Bob Duggar enforced courtship rules on his daughters before they tied the knot.

Jana , 34, shared a vlog to her YouTube account on Saturday.

She surprised her then-boyfriend, Stephen Wissman, while he was at work.

When Jana found Stephen , 31, they ran up to each other and embraced in a front-facing hug.

After their hug, Jana joined her man in his truck, where they held hands the entire ride.

There was a photo of Stephen with his arm around Jana’s shoulders.

These actions broke the Duggar courtship protocol.

Stephen also pretended to propose to Jana with a Ring Pop and she said yes.

Some of Jim Bob’s rules include going on dates with chaperones, no hand-holding or other forms of PDA, and only greeting each other with side hugs.

Jana also called Stephen “her boyfriend” and wore jeans in public, which broke two more protocol rules.

BRIDE GOES WILD

Duggar fans also think Jana broke protocol during her wedding.

She and Stephen got married in Arkansas on August 15.

A photo posted by a friend on Instagram showed the couple holding hands and standing very close to one another.

In one photo, Stephen picked up Jana and wrapped his arms underneath her butt as they shared a kiss.

After the photos appeared online, some TLC fans thought the couple looked too comfortable and had potentially broken Jim’s modesty rules before their tying the knot.

Jana broke her father’s dress code rules with an off-the-shoulder gown.

“These are pics of people who did not follow the no front hugs and no kissing courtship rules,” a Reddit user said.

“They’re way too comfortable with each other. Now how far they went, I don’t know.”

FINALLY A BRIDE

Stephen and Jana, the oldest of the Duggar children, got married in front of 500 guests at the Prairie Grove venue.

The couple had only been engaged for two months prior.

Jana wore an off-the-shoulder white gown , which did not follow her father’s rules.

Stephen had on a classic black tux with a black bow tie.

“I think it is one of those things that all girls envision someday,” Jana told People .

“For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, it’s never coming.’ But now it’s starting to sink in.”

“Reality is starting to set in. And I’m like, ‘Wow, this truly is something that I’ve dreamed of,'” Jana went on.

“And just to see it coming about is incredible and kind of hard to believe. It’s a dream come true.”
