She included her receipt in the video so others could see the ten-cent fee added to her mobile order.

She angrily added that the chain was “out-of-hand” with their absurd bag fee.

“Why the f*** did I get charged for the bag? What’s next? You’re going to charge me for the french fry container?” she asked.

That’s not the only thing the fast-food consumer was upset about.

She claimed that a few years ago, Chick-fil-A had changed its loyalty program , making it infinitely harder to receive small rewards.

“I am a loyal Chick-fil-A eater. I’m in the top-tier. Why the f*** did you guys change it?” she asked. “Now, it’s taken me one hundred f****** years just to earn a free drink.”

“Chick-fil-A count your f****** days,” she said in the video .

    ‘RIDICULOUS’ CHARGE

Fans sounded off in the comments section, saying the rant was completely justified.

“I started supporting a local BBQ place by me that has the best chicken sandwiches. Chick-fil-A has gotten too expensive & quality has gone down,” commented one social media user.

“I don’t mind paying for bags and cups if it keeps food prices down, but 10 cents for one bag is ridiculous,” commented another user.

“People will say it’s only a dime, but add all the customers together. It’s profit now,” they added.

    BIG CHANGES

In 2022, Chick-fil-A issued a press release detailing new measures the retailer has taken to improve customer satisfaction while also staying committed to their sustainability efforts.

The fast food chain currently oversees more than 170,000 operators, team members, and staff across the United States, Puerto Rico , and Canada .

“Operators and Team Members have made caring for our planet a priority by increasing their efforts to reduce food waste by composting, recycling fryer oil, and more,” the statement said.

States with bans on single-use plastic bags

Several states have enacted bans on single-use plastic bags to curb pollution and adopt more sustainable practices.

Nine states have banned the usage of plastic bags, with many requiring shops to charge five or 10 cents for every bag purchased.

    1. California
    2. Connecticut
    3. Delaware
    4. Hawaii
    5. Maine
    6. New York
    7. New Jersey
    8. Oregon
    9. Vermont

The company also launched the Chick-fil-A Green Team to help cultivate a “green” mindset across the business.

Looking forward, the brand said it will work to divert 25 million pounds of restaurant food waste from landfills by 2025.

Although Chick-fil-A did not mention if its bag fee was part of its push toward sustainability, several states have enacted bans on single-use plastic bags to curb pollution and adopt more sustainable practices.

Nine states have banned the usage of plastic bags, with many requiring shops to charge five or 10 cents for every bag purchased.

California became the first state to prevent grocery stores from offering single-use plastic bags to customers before they reach the checkout counter.

Other states that have enacted laws regarding single-use plastic bags include Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, and Vermont.

“We look forward to what we can accomplish together in the years to come as we strive to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A,” the company said.

Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A could be joining the entertainment industry with plans for a streaming service.

And customers are hyped after the fast food chain announced that it’s bringing back a beloved milkshake after it spent over a decade off menus.
