All three unclaimed wins which total $1.2 million were scooped by players in Pennsylvania.

The largest prize is $1 million from a ticket that was purchased in Philadelphia.

The unknown millionaire bought the ticket from United Food Market ahead of the drawing on October 4, 2023.

To win the second-tier prize, the player correctly matched the five white balls of 9, 35, 54, 63, and 64.

Meanwhile, the second largest unclaimed prize is $150,000 which was sold in Lehigh County.

The Powerball ticket which had a Power Play was sold at Blose’s Market.

Four of the five white balls that were drawn on October 9, 2023, were matched on the ticket, as well as the Powerball number.

Players are urged to hunt for their ticket from that date with the following numbers: 16, 34, 46, 55, 67, and Powerball 14.

Lastly, a $100,000 win is yet to be claimed in The Keystone State.

The ticket was bought at a Rite Aid in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.

Also with a Power Play, this ticket matched four of the white balls as well as the Powerball number on the drawing on October 4, 2023.

    The winning numbers were: 9, 35, 54, 63, and 64 with Powerball 1.

    EXPIRATION DATE

Under state law, Powerball winners have a year from the date of the draw to claim their prize.

This means that the three lucky winners have less than two months to take home their cash.

If they fail to meet the deadline, lottery officials will use the funds for the community.

“By law, unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians,” the state lottery explained in a press release.

Anyone who wishes to make a claim must have a signed winning ticket and contact the lottery office.

An online claim form can be completed, players can also phone the Pennsylvania Lottery office, or they can visit one of the seven offices across the state between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Once winnings are claimed some tough decisions need to be made.

The U.S. Sun previously reported on a winner who won a life-changing amount of cash and is being called selfish by his family because of his approach to the money.

Meanwhile, another key decision saw one winner instantly lose nearly half of their multi-million dollar win.
