AJ Baron ( @theajbaron ) shares advice related to jobs and money with his over 276,000 TikTok followers.

In a video last September, Baron explained how high schoolers could pocket some extra cash with easy side hustle ideas.

“I was making $100 a day doing these back in high school – so fun,” said the content creator.

One of the side hustles he took on was selling snacks to his classmates.

“Everybody knows the guy that was selling food at school, but they are the smart one,” he said.

Baron suggested heading to Costco or Walmart and purchasing a large box of candy or a variety pack of chips for a few dollars.

Teens can then sell the snacks for around $1 each at school and “make their money back instantly.”

Baron also shared a way to boost your profits.

“All you gotta do is hype it up on your story so people can DM you and the next day you sell it to them,” suggested Baron.

He noted that some schools don’t allow students to sell snacks, but that he would sneak the food in his backpack and sell it out of his bag.

Many TikTok users shared that their schools didn’t permit selling snacks in the comment section.

“My school doesn’t allow us to sell snacks. No schools do,” said one student.

Another admitted their school had a rule against selling snacks, but they did anyway and made $270 in one day.

Others warned that their schools threatened to suspend students who sold food to their classmates.

One student shared that they took on the side hustle and that it was “fun and easy money.”

    MORE MONEY

Baron shared two other side hustles he would make money from in high school.

He would buy and sell sneakers on Nike’s SNKRS app.

The entrepreneur would wait for the shoes to go on sale for around $120 to purchase and then would sell them for “double or triple” the amount of money.

Baron noted that teens could also buy used shoes and clean them up, reselling them on Facebook Marketplace to turn a profit.

The other side hustle the entrepreneur shared was becoming a content creator.

He shared that you can make money from any app, including TikTok, YouTube , and Snapchat .

According to Baron, for every 1,000 views, YouTube pays content creators around $5 while TikTok pays $2.

“If you start posting every single day, in one year from now I’m telling you you’re gonna make money on social media,” he said.

“And if you can combine all of these businesses, you can make a lot of money as a teenager. It’s so easy.”

There are endless side hustle ideas to make money.

A simple writing side hustle can make teens up to $2,280 a month – all you need are your phone and laptop to start.

Plus, a 15-year-old made $1,000 in a week with an easy flipping side hustle .
