Host Molly Qerim was alongside Stephen A. Smith and NFL analysts Mike Tannenbaum and Mina Kimes during a sequence.

The topic concerned the potential 2024-25 Super Bowl winner as the analysts were asked who they thought would win it all.

Tannenbaum wasn’t afraid to reveal a surprise team to come out on top.

“This one’s easy. It’s the Green Bay Packers ,” he said.

Smith showed his surprise look as he could be seen mouthing, “What?”

Qerim was also stunned at the prediction as Kimes’ eyes widened at the opinion .

“They are young and they are deep,” Tannenbaum continued.

“When you talk about a team that’s going to be young at the beginning of the season but get better as the season goes along, I like Detroit and Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game.

“I have Green Bay winning that game, and then I love Love over Mahomes and the Chiefs, winning the Super Bowl.”

Green Bay made the playoffs last season after a strong campaign from 2021 first-round pick Jordan Love, who amassed 4,159 passing yards.

The Packers even upset the Dallas Cowboys in the divisonal round.

His season was enough for the Packers to hand Love a four-year, $220 million contract – tied for the largest deal in NFL history .

Still, the Packers enter the season with the ninth-best Super Bowl betting odds.

Smith picked a trilogy rematch of the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs .

Kansas City beat San Francisco in the big game in 2019 and the most recent one in February.

Qerim did call Stephen A. Smith’s prediction “boring.”

Still, Kimes agreed with Smith’s take.

TV viewers can catch First Take on ESPN from 10 am Eastern.
