Sam’s Club confirms it will change hours for an entire day forcing shoppers into making alternative plans

SAM'S Club has announced that its store hours will change for an entire day next week.
On Labor Day, which falls on Monday, September 2, the retailer will have different hours of operation across the country.
Customers should check the timetables of their local stores to see if their shopping will be distributed by the holiday.
There are almost 600 Sam's Club locations in the US that could be affected by this change in hours.
On regular business days, Club members can shop between 10 am and 8 pm.
Plus members are given two extra hours of shopping and can visit Sam's Club stores from 8 am during the week.
On Labor Day, however, these hours will differ.
Plus members will be able to shop between 8 am and 6 pm and Club members can shop between 10 am and 6 pm.
The chain had a similar change in its hours earlier this summer on the Fourth of July.
On other holidays throughout the year, Sam's Club doesn't just alter its hours, it shuts its doors entirely - on Easter, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Day.
The U.S. Sun contacted Sam's Club for comment.
SHOPPERS' FRUSTRATIONS
Some Sam's Club shoppers have been growing increasingly frustrated at the retailer due to a recent membership policy change.
On August 19, Plus members lost a treasured perk of their membership.
With an annual fee of $110, customers used to benefit from free shipping on most online orders.
But as of last week, this policy was altered.
Plus members must now spend a minimum of $50 to qualify for free shipping.
If their basket does not reach this threshold, a shipping fee of $8 will be applied.
And some customers have not taken this news particularly well.
"I'm really disappointed with Sam's Club changing shipping during a Plus membership year," one shopper wrote.
"What genius there decided to take away the one factor that made your Plus membership worth keeping with the free delivery," another angry customer said.
"Please explain why going to Costco shouldn't be the next move? This is a terrible decision," a further comment said.
It seems that Sam's Club shoppers are considering taking their business elsewhere because of this policy change.
"I won't be renewing unless this changes back and I'm sure there are many who won't either," a shopper threatened.
