COPS probing an infamous serial killer are closing in on the identities of four additional victims found at Fox Hollow Farms.

Herb Baumeister is accused of murdering dozens of men – and burying their remains on his Indiana property – during a killing spree that began in the early 1980s and came to a close as a result of his 1996 suicide.

Over 10,000 pieces of human remains have been recovered from Baumeister’s 18-acre estate, Fox Hollow Farm, since 1996.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office have successfully identified nine of his known victims.

The Westminister, Indiana community publicly honored those nine identified victims of the notorious serial killer Herb Baumeister on Thursday.

They are currently working to identify four others.

“The complexity and the amount of remains they have, which is over 10,000 stored, is second only to 9/11,” said Linda Znachko, as reported by Fox News Digital .

Znachko is the founder of He Knows Your Name, an Indiana-based ministry for the unidentified deceased.

“And the intricacy and the amount of manpower that this investigation is continuing to need and require, plus money to do pathology and all the DNA work, is just huge,” she added.

Earlier this year, He Knows Your Name purchased an outdoor sculpture from Canadian artist David Perrett to serve as part of a memorial site.

Along with Hamilton County Coroner Jeffrey Jellison, Znachko dedicated the memorial to the Fox Hollow Farm victims .

Jellison, who inherited the Fox Hollow Case when he was elected as the county’s coroner, has worked tirelessly to identify the unknown remains.

“To the families who are here today of those who have been identified, please understand there is no way we could understand your grief,” Jellison said at Thursday’s memorial, as reported by IndyStar.

“We see that and we are here to support you.”

The memorial included a plaque with the known, named victims, along with a space designated for the still-unidentified victims to be remembered.

It also included an ossuary, to serve as the final resting place of human skeletal remains.

Znachko said her organization included the ossuary “so that any future remains or any family member that would like to use that ossuary [could] have their loved one buried right…at the memorial site, and free of charge.”

    Fox Hollow Farm's Identified Victims

Over 10,000 pieces of human remains have been discovered on Fox Hollow Farms since 1996.

So far, nine victims have been identified, with investigators working to identify the remains of four additional victims.

The nine victims who have been identified so far include:

    • Jeffrey Allen “Jeff” Jones
    • Allen Lee Livingston
    • Manuel Resendez
    • John Lee “Johnny” Bayer
    • Richard Douglas Hamilton Jr.
    • Steven Spurlin Hale
    • Allen Wayne Broussard
    • Roger Allen Goodlet
    • Michael Frederick “Mike” Keirn

Matthew Pranger, a cousin of one of Fox Hollow Farm’s victims, Allen Lee Livingston, attended Thursday’s memorial event.

Livingston was just 27 years old when he went missing in 1993.

On Thursday, he was finally laid to rest at the Hamilton Memorial park Cemetery.

“The memorial service yesterday, I believe, did give justice to those who either have been identified or have yet to be identified,” Pranger said.

He also said that one of the reasons he’s been so vocal and public about his support is because he hopes other families who may have lost a loved one get involved in the case.

“We would like to have as many people come forward that may have any connection whatsoever to this case to try to identify other potential victims,” he said.

Eight of the nine identified victims were identified in the 1990s, shortly after their remains were uncovered.

A ninth victim was identified and named in 2023.

Investigators hope DNA technology, which has advanced significantly over the last few years, allows them to identify at least four more victims in the near future.

    FOX HOLLOW KILLER

Baumeister is believed to have killed dozens of men between the 1980s and 1990s.

A resident of Westfield, Indiana, he was married to Juliana “Julie” Saiter and had three children.

Baumeister was also the founder of two successful Sav-A-Lot thrift stores in Indianapolis.

In the 1990s, Baumeister came under investigation after police linked him to the murders of over a dozen men, most of whom were last seen at gay bars.

He used one of his properties, Fox Hollow Farm, as a burial site for the victims.

Baumeister lured the victims to his property, where he killed them and dismembered their bodies.

After police found the remains of several victims on the site, they issued a warrant for Baumesiter’s arrest.

Baumeister fled to Ontario, Canada, where he committed suicide at Pinery Provincial Park on Lake Huron.

After his death, Baumeister was also linked to at least 11 additional murders along Interstate 70, committed between the early 1980s and early 1990s.
