ONE of the nation's most popular fast-food chains revealed that at least some of its 3,000+ locations would be changing their hours of operation on Monday, September 2.

Chick-fil-A revealed that while nearly all of its stores will remain open over Labor Day weekend and on Labor Day Monday, many locations will either open later or close earlier than normal.

Summer is almost over, and with that comes one last round of picnics, cookouts, and barbecues over Labor Day weekend.

However, plenty of Americans would rather kick back and relax or make the most of their long weekend than spend time cooking or grilling out.

From fast food chains to upscale restaurants, plenty of businesses will remain open over the weekend and on Labor Day.

However, some chains, including Chick-fil-A, are encouraging potential diners to check their local restaurant's hours beforehand to ensure they'll be open for business.

The chain, famous for its chicken sandwiches, doesn't have any plans to close its doors to customers on Monday.

However, some stores may be operating under "limited hours," meaning they'll close earlier, or open later than usual.

Chick-fil-A restaurants normally operate between 6:30 am to 9 or 10 pm, Monday through Saturday.

All of the chain's locations are closed each Sunday.

Diners hoping to grab Chick-fil-A for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on Monday, September 2, are in luck.

Chick-fil-A makes it easy to check the specific hours of operation for your local restaurant.

Customers can simply use the Chick-fil-A App, available to download on both iOS and Android devices.

Chicken sandwich enthusiasts can also click the "Find a Restaurant" link on Chick-fil-A's website navigation bar, located at the top left corner of their site.

For instance, searching for Chick-fil-A locations in the Chicagoland area shows that some stores will open as early as 6:30 am, while others won't open until 10:30 am.

Similarly, some stores close as early as 4 pm, while other locations will remain open until 7 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, or even up to 11 pm.

Plenty of retailers and restaurants are open for business throughout Labor Day weekend, including Labor Day Monday, September 2.

Chick-fil-A tends to remain open for most federal holidays, including New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, and the Fourth of July.

However, the chain does recommend that customers check their local store's hours in advance, as each store sets its own hours for the holidays.

In addition to closing on Sundays, Chick-fil-A does shut down for two major holidays every year.

Those two holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

However, the day before and after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and the day after Christmas may also have different hours of operation.

    HOLIDAY CLOSURES

Chick-fil-A isn't the only business open on Labor Day and other federal holidays.

However, like Chick-fil-A, some businesses are choosing to switch up their hours for the holiday, forcing shoppers to plan accordingly.

Sam's Club is one retailer that will remain open over the weekend and on Monday.

However, the chain will have slightly different hours of operation for Club and Plus members.

Meanwhile, customers hoping to shop until they drop at Costco will have to find alternative plans, with the chain closing its doors on Monday, September 2.

So, it's midnight and you crave a Big Mac. McDonald's is closed. Did they purposely close to f--k you over.? No---it's a business. Store hours are on the door, and they set their own rules. So, News Break, stop with the self entitlement headlines. "Forced" is a word that implies no choice, and we still have plenty.

Shocking you mean a company will have different hours on a major federal holiday then on business day?
