A BRIDE'S sister has faced backlash after showing her very over-the-top outfit, with her pals not looking much different.

The past few months have been filled with thousands of weddings across the world and amongst those celebrating love was also Lety Wehbe.

The young Lebanese beauty recently attended her sister's nuptials and took to TikTok to proudly show off her very lavish outfit for the big day.

However, the jaw-dropping ensembles she and fellow guests wore soon took the platform by storm - for all the wrong reasons.

The now-viral video, which has racked up a staggering 14.2million views in just one day, sees Lety (@letyofficiall) film just some of the looks spotted at the glam outdoor ceremony.

One of the sisters, Karen, arrived rocking a stunning full-length gown decorated with pink gems and a flattering bardot-style corset top that's fit for a real-life princess.

Meanwhile, Lety herself had opted for a jaw-dropping maxi tulle number in a summery lilac shade.

The gorgeous gown, complete with a bedazzled corset top that snatched the waist, also featured the tulle material around her bust.

The dark-haired fashionista had paired the outfit with a sleek clutch, chic hairdo, glam make-up, as well as a mini tiara on her head.

Amongst the guests was also a young woman named Lynn who decided to show off her enviable curves in a tight maxi dress with a thigh-high split and sky-high platform heels.

The bright white gown also featured frilled detailing around the neckline, matching the light clutch she was keeping all of her essentials in.

The men attending the lavish wedding had also found their best suits, dressed to the nines and dazzling in smart tuxedos.

But although the guests were beaming as they enjoyed their day filled with fun and love, the reaction on TikTok was slightly different, as viewers raced to slam the OTT looks.

Not only did many think they were trying to ''outshine the bride'' with their head-turning looks, people also shamed Lynn for the white gown.

One social media user was totally stunned, writing: ''AIN'T NO WAY LYNN WORE WHITE.''

Another was just as gobsmacked, adding: ''Lynn better be the bride.''

''Lynn what are u doing sis,'' someone else cried, as a fourth said they'd be taking drastic measures to ruin Lynn's dress.

    ''I’m bringing the red wine.''

How to pick the perfect wedding dress

Wedding season is in full swing, but when it comes to picking your perfect dress, most new brides-to-be probably feel a bit clueless.

As someone who’s tying the knot in August 2024, Josie Griffiths, deputy digital Fabulous editor and bride-to-be, has shared her top tips...

    1. Give yourself time - unless you’re a sample size, dresses can take months to even arrive. Don’t stress yourself out by looking too late, in my opinion dress shopping should be the second thing on your list, right after finding a venue.
    2. Visit multiple shops - you don’t want to be buying on your first visit.
    3. But not too many - like a f***boy who can’t stop swiping on Tinder, having too much choice isn’t going to help you find The One.
    4. Take people with you - women who will be honest but also hype you up, unlike the mean relatives on Say Yes To The Dress, and ideally people from different areas of your life who won’t automatically say the same thing. I shopped with my mum and two best friends, who didn’t know each other and had different styles.
    5. Think it over - I returned to the shop before making my final decision on the dress I chose, re-trying it with my second favourite to make sure I was certain. It’s an expensive purchase, and you can’t send it back like you might your next Asos order, so take time to mull it over.

Luckily for the glam brood, there was also heaps of support, as people reminded that nuptials look different across the world.

''It kills me so badly how people don’t understand that different cultures do weddings differently,'' wrote one person.

Someone else agreed, adding: ''guys remember every country has different rules to weddings and who knows maybe the sister let's other people wear white.''

Traditionally, Lebanese weddings are filled with extravaganza and formal attire is customary - this means smart tuxedos for men and lavish gowns for women.
