Host Rick said he was interested in the statue, which featured a person sideways with abstract lines coming off of them.

He bought it for $20,000 after minimal haggling.

The seller said she got the strange statue from her ex-in-laws.

“I’d like to get rid of it just like I got rid of them,” she said.

Rick saw that the sculpture was by M.L. Snowden.

Neither he nor the seller knew it by name.

Initially, the seller asked for $50,000.

Rick pushed that down to $20,000.

    The seller quickly agreed.

Later, an expert revealed it’s called “Photon.”

It seeks to blend quantum physics with sculpture, according to the artist ’s museum webpage.

The expert told Rick and his son Corey it could be worth around $36,000.

He added that it could go up and called it “investment-quality art.”

Corey scoffed at the piece, saying it was “ugly as hell.”
