THE View has undergone a major change for Season 28, unveiling a whole new set that’s so big it caused Joy Behar to get lost.

The daytime talk show moved studios for the first time in 10 years, which was first announced at the end of Season 27.

The new $10 million View studio now has a brown and tan theme rather than the blue and white one it had in the past.

Co-host Joy , 81, shared that the studio is “so big” that she’s going to need to use navigation app Waze to get around.

She joked that she got lost on the way to the bathroom.

The audience and The View’s executive producer, Brian Teta, who stands at a podium, are both closer to the hosts, with all of them on the same level now.

In the past, the audience was on a level above the hosts, which caused them to look up at them.

The floor is now a shiny brown linoleum and there are big windows in the back that show off a fake New York City skyline.

The 28th season also kicked off with a new original theme song by British artist Leona Lewis (known for 2007’s Bleeding Love).

The past theme song was For My Girls by Brandy, Nicole Scherzinger , and Mary J. Blige , which debuted in Season 20.

Next to the hosts’ desk, there is a big deck, which co-host Whoopi Goldberg stood on to introduce Season 28.

Behind the deck, there are steps to get down to the new gold desk and brown velvet chairs.

Gold pillars hold up the building and clay vases and greenery fill the empty spaces.

    SIPPIN’ ON SOMETHING GOOD

The hosts also got new mugs with their faces and items that represent New York on them.

Joy joked that her head was next to something that looked like an IUD and co-host Sunny Hostin said it looked like her face was placed next to a trash can.

Co-host Sara Haines said that it “might be her favorite one” despite there being a hot dog on her mug.

“Is that what that is?” Whoopi asked suggestively as the audience laughed.

Whoopi got lucky and had pizza and coffee next to her face.

Other items on the mug included a soft pretzel, a Broadway sign, a 5th Avenue sign, and landmarks including the Empire State Building.

Co-host Ana Navarro was not present for the premiere.

    PRICEY NEW DIGS

Despite The View hosts loving the new studio, those behind the scenes are apparently not happy with how much it cost .

An insider close to the talk show’s production exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the set at the new ABC studios in Manhattan is costing the network a fortune, and staffers are “furious” to hear about the huge amount of money spent.

“They’re in the process of moving all the rest of the cast and crew’s personal items from the old ABC studios uptown to their new studios downtown,” the insider said.

“People are furious about the move. Another 150 people got fired at the start of this month meanwhile The View is spending $10 million on a brand-new set.”

“But they are not bubble-wrapping things to bring over, this is all new. New View table, new chairs, brand new background, all designed from scratch,” the source went on.

“This is a multi-million-dollar set. Even the mugs are new!”

The View airs weekdays on ABC at 11 am Eastern.
