Krispy Kreme customers argue it’s ‘a little late’ for Barbie doughnut collab as fans beg for iconic spooky movie team-up

KRISPY Kreme announced its latest collaboration but fans have argued that it’s a bit too late.

The donut chain revealed four new donuts that come in a limited-edition Barbie box .

However, fans think the collaboration should’ve come out last summer when the Barbie movie hit theaters.

“Should have been there in 2023,” wrote one person on Instagram .

However, another person explained that the collaboration was released for the Barbie brand’s 65th year anniversary.

“Lol, then the movie should’ve been released this year!” wrote another person.

“Lil late why out now?!” asked someone else.

One person wrote: “You guys should have brought this out last year during the Barbie movie, you would have made a lot of money .”

Some fans called for a Halloween collaboration as the holiday slowly approaches.

“Yeah, a little late for this,” wrote one person.

“Get on the right chord and drop a BEETLEJUICE collab. Nobody wants this.”

“What about Beetlejuice,” asked another person.

WHAT A DOLL

The Barbie Sweet 65th donut is the first new flavor introduced.

It’s an original glazed dipped in chocolate with Barbie-inspired sprinkles.

Next is the Berries ‘N Kreme donut is an unglazed shell filled with strawberry cream, dipped in icing, and decorated with purple and pink stripes and a Barbie heart.

The third donut is the Malibu Dream Party, which has cake batter-flavored cream, blue icing, and graham cracker sand.

It comes topped with a fun Barbie Dreamhouse piece.

Last is the Barbie Pink Donut, an original glazed with pink frosting, sparkling sugar, and the doll’s signature sunglasses, which are edible.

The collection can be enjoyed as an individual treat or in a six-count box.

The treats will be available at participating Krispy Kreme locations and at select retailers including Walmart , Kroger , and Publix.
