In the six-minute video , he told viewers he had died from Stage 2 pancreatic cancer .

On Monday, his brother Roy posted a video sharing an update on Harrell’s health and some clips of him at the shooting range.

He said many subscribers wanted an update on his health to which he said “Friends and family are spending as much time as we can with Paul.”

Roy also somely added, “His time with us is getting exceptionally short.”

Since Harrell shared his diagnosis in July 2023, Roy has been doing most of the work for the channel.

In the video, Roy shared that they planned on keeping Harrell’s channel up and running even after his death.

“We are going to do what we can to continue in the guise of Paul and with his style, we are going to do what we can to continue to the legacy he’s built,” the brother said.

    LOCKED AND LOADED

About two minutes of the four-minute video were “family videos” of Harrell and others shooting at a range.

Harrell sat in a camping chair next to a table of handguns and ammunition while he used a handgun to shoot at a target.

In other clips, the firearm expert used a larger gun to hit the target and also sat and watched while another person shot at birds in the air.

At the end of the video, the two brothers sat at a table sharing a brief message.

Harrell said that because Roy has been doing “damn near all the work,” they are planning on changing the channel’s name.

They’re considering changing it to Paul and Roy Harrell, instead of just Paul’s name, to reflect the two brothers.

“It has spread faster than I thought it would.

“I had hoped that I would continue in this format for the next 10 or even 15 years,” he said.
