Kroger has removed the handles on some of its paper grocery bags, which prompted the shoppers to share their anger on X .

“@Kroger Give us back full-size bags with handles you monsters,” the shopper wrote .

The supermarket quickly responded to the customer addressing the issue.

“Hi, there! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback allows us to improve our company and our customers’ experiences,” the grocer said.

“On your behalf, we have shared your comments with our Leadership Team to make them aware. Thank you and have a great day!”

But the customer wasn’t done complaining and responded with another one of their gripes.

“Super. While we’re at it bring back actual employees working multiple open checkout lines,” the shopper raged.

    MORE SHOPPERS WEIGH IN

Many other shoppers have recently taken to X to slam the new bag design.

“Why do you now have paper bags with no handles?” asked the X user.

“We are city people who walk to and from places. We need handles. Please and thank you.”

Another customer pleaded with Kroger to reinstate the handles , claiming she no longer shopped there because of the bag policy.

“I’m begging you to bring back handles on your paper bags, I don’t want to have to drive across town to the other grocery store anymore,” she wrote.

Kroger responded to each customer, noting their complaints had been escalated to a leadership team.

    NO MORE DEALS

Meanwhile, shoppers have voiced concerns about Kroger’s prices as they notice fewer advertised weekly specials.

“I can’t believe how difficult it is to access Kroger weekly ads online.”

One shopper in Cincinnati, Ohio , said their weekly flyer is just a three-page fold-out ad now.

“They are also featuring BOGOs. My thought is that in order to afford to do the BOGOs, they have to decrease the quantity of what’s on sale each week, hence the smaller ad,” wrote Steve Frazier in a Facebook post.

Dan (@ dmakilakersfans ) said the store’s digital coupons weren’t any better.

“I can’t believe how difficult it is to access Kroger weekly ads online,” he wrote on X.

Kroger apologized, but it wasn’t long before more customers weighed in with their thoughts.

According to customer Shari, trying to redeem coupons in stores is equally as frustrating .

She ranted on X about how using the store’s digital coupons requires “a ridiculous amount of steps.”

The U.S. Sun has been following other complaints Kroger shoppers have shared.

One shopper urged the chain to fix the pharmacy section of its website after experiencing issues checking their medications.

Another abandoned their full shopping cart after being overcharged at self-checkout.
