Attorney Sean Kennedy and wife arrested during search for man who vanished in June as family says they ‘fear the worst’

THE search for a man who has been missing since June has led to two arrests.

It was reported that attorney Sean Kennedy and his wife, Alle, were arrested by police on Thursday.

Houston police reportedly executed a search warrant on the attorney’s property after it was reported that the home was the last place that Robert Bond had been seen, reported FOX affiliate KRIV .

According to the outlet, the neighborhood where the Kennedys lived was swarmed with police officers, SWAT officers, detectives and volunteers from the Texas Equusearch for hours.

Officers later arrested and charged Kennedy with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Police also reportedly charged Alle with credit card abuse and possession of fraudulent information.

It is currently unknown what authorities found during their search.

Police did not immediately reveal where they had executed the warrant, but it was later revealed when they posted about the search on social media .

“Homicide investigators are serving a search warrant at 100 Sage,” read a post by the department on X .

“This is part of an ongoing missing person investigation. Further information will be released when available.”

The Houston Police Department did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.

BAD BLOOD

Speaking with the outlet, Kennedy stated that Bond had been a stranger to him until the pair met through Kennedy’s rental home repair business.

According to the lawyer, things were fine between the couple and Bond until the latter started demanding that they pay him.

Kennedy told KRIV that it was then that they asked Bond to leave and that’s when he disappeared.

“I was being kind to a man I didn’t know. My wife and I opened our home to him, and now he’s gone missing,” Kennedy said.

May 2024: Robert Bond is taken in by attorney Sean Kennedy and his wife, Alle, after they meet at Kennedy’s renal home repair company. The relationship with the couple sours and Bond is asked to leave the house.

June 2024: Bond is reported missing by his family.

August 2024 : Houston police execute a search warrant at the Kennedy home. Both Sean and Alle are arrested on substance and credit card charges.

“And I’ve got the SWAT team in our front yard. They broke in our door and got us out of bed. Now, they’re searching the house, and we’re cooperating with them.”

He added: “Our entire intention when we first met Robert Bond was to be Good Samaritans, to show him a little bit of charity…He became very unpleasant to be around.”

“When he demanded money from us, that’s when I said enough is enough.”

“You’ve got to find another place to live … He didn’t say where he was going or what he was doing. He was upset obviously, and he walked out of our neighborhood, and we didn’t see him or hear from him since.”

‘SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED’

Bond’s family has also spoken out regarding his disappearance.

“No one has heard from him since. No friends, no relatives, no one. I’m very concerned. It’s coming up on three months now, and we have no answers,” Bond’s mother, Cindy Splater, said.

“I never thought something like this would happen to us as a family. It’s very emotional. I mean it’s a rollercoaster. You kind of go from hope to hopelessness, and you try to be brave.”

She added: “My necklace was a Mother’s Day gift from Robert about ten years ago. It’s very special, especially now. I wear it all the time.”

According to Bond’s aunt, Liz Webb: “This is very hard and there’s nothing you can do. We’ve done everything we know to do. It’s like being in a bad dream, except you’re awake.”

Rose Bond told the outlet that the family is starting to fear that “something bad happened, something very bad. He would never just leave without calling.”
