Detroit Lions accused of ‘cheating’ with camouflaged jerseys which caused ‘stealth’ interception against LA Rams

FANS were left divided after the Detroit Lions' camouflaged jerseys helped them produce a "stealth" interception against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Lions defeated the Rams 26-20 in OT last night.

During the game, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, formerly of the Lions, found himself caught out by their uniforms.

With Detroit's blue jerseys blending into the end zone and wall padding of the same color, Stafford did not see that his teammate was guarded.

The 36-year-old's pass was easily intercepted by Kerby Joseph, who in his blue jersey, seemed to spring from nowhere.

Several viewers at home loved the play.

"Kind of genius by Lions," one wrote on X.

"Home Field Advantage," a second joked.

"That's some next level stealth mode right there," a third claimed.

"It’s like a green screen lmaoooo," another added.

Others, however, felt some injustice in the incident.

"Damn, this Shii gotta be illegal man," one moaned.

"Is that even legal?" a second asked.

"He’s actually got a point here. That’s sketch they allowed that," another added.

Following his team's dramatic OT triumph, Lions head coach Dan Campbell reserved special praise for running back David Montgomery.

"I said it after we ran the conditioning test, and whatever that was, July 26, I guess," Campbell began.

"The day before we started our first practice and he was, he just, man, you talk about a guy who was in outstanding shape.

"Look, all of our guys were, but this guy just looked, I mean he looked like he didn't break a sweat for this thing, and then the first few days of practice he doesn't look fatigued.

"And so he's in unbelievable shape, he's worked extremely hard, and he's just reliable."

Campbell went on to gush further over the 27-year-old.

"He runs heavy, he's tough, he's physical, he gets in a rhythm, and I think he's a catalyst for us," the 48-year-old added.

"He starts carrying it, and he gets better and better, and I think the line feeds off of him, and he feeds off of them, and we get what we get. That guy's a stud, he's a stud."
