What is the meaning of skibidi toilet?

Skibidi toilet is an online meme that began with an animated YouTube video of a CGI head emerging from a toilet.

The video went viral and has quickly amassed over hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.

Soon it spawned a spin-off video series, also named Skibidi Toilet.

The animated series follows a war between the eponymous toilets and an army of mechanical men with speakers, TVs and cameras for heads.

Ultimately, skibidi toilet is a meme in the same way that Gen Z had Brat Summer in 2024 and Millennials had Drake Hotling Bling memes.

Parents across the world have voiced their concerns about the series, as references to the meme have reportedly begun to appear on the playground.

One man in Russia even reported the series to the authorities, due to fears that it might have a “detrimental effect” on children.

Who is the creator of Skibidi toilet?

The Gen Alpha internet meme was first posted to an account called DaFuq!?Boom!

The channel is run by Alexey Gerasimov, an animator from Georgia.

He has no formal training in the field, though he does have a friend who helps him source assets for the series.

Fans of the Half-Life and Portal games may recognise some of the elements used in the animation process.

The Skibidi Toilet creator used Source Filmmaker, a free animation platform released by Valve (the studio behind Half-Life and Portal).

The animator told Carton Brew that his goal was not to go viral.

Instead he said: “At first, I tried to make something unexpected and silly.”

What is Alexey Gerasimov’s YouTube channel DaFuq!?Boom! about?

Much of Alexey’s online content is centred around Skibidi Toilet.

There are over 60 videos in the YouTube series, with each one lasting between 30 seconds to five minutes.

His other videos are all animation based and are varied in their content.

Some are more surreal, like his Skibidi Toilet videos, and others show his take on existing franchises, such as Transformers.
